UCC weeks 19,20,21,22,23

Week 19

After picking her up I noticed what appeared to be three areas of "dried blood" on her head. Freaked.me.out! Come to find out it was the paint from the pig that was in her hair.

Week 20 we were in Colorado for Vacation so we missed school.

Week 21- Valentines Day! Of course we had to dress appropriately- a heart smocked dress and heart baby legs :)

Here she is with all the valentines she received.

Week 22-Fat Tuesday!

Buckley Tongue

You have inherited the Buckley tongue and it cracks me up! Your granddaddy Buck (my daddy) would always stick his tongue to the side like this when concentrating (or getting mad) and I do it as well. Your daddy and I laugh every time you do it! It warms my heart and makes me think of my dad, but I know that's him letting us know he's with us :)

Happy 9 Months!

just a little late.....

A healthy, happy 9 month old! 17lbs 5oz (30%) Head 17.5 cm (70%) Length 27.25 in (50%)

Oh my happy baby! How has 9 months already gone by? I still think of you as my little baby but you are growing up fast. Every Day your daddy and I are so very thankful for you. You are learning new things everyday.

You love to "find Noah" in the Arc. It's one of your favorite toys and keeps you entertained in the morning in our bed. I put all the plush animals including Noah inside the Arc. You open the flap and I say "find Noah" you dig through and pull out different animals and toss them aside. Once you find Noah you get excited and play with him. I think you are just so smart!

You are learning to clap and get very excited when we say yea and clap with you

Other things you say and do:
Say mama
Say dada
Wave
Say hi
How to open and close doors

You like to dance. Your favorite song is Rocky Mountain High by John Denver.

You know when I call to you to come back (lady will open a Door so you high tale it down the hall crawling. I will call your name and you stop and turn around and smile. You know you have escaped and you think it's so funny)

Your little legs continue to get stronger and stronger. You are pulling up for longer periods of time and are learning how to sit from standing rather than falling over.

You love to eat bananas and it's one of my favorite things to watch you and daddy share a banana in bed in the morning! you also prefer to feed yourself. You make such a mess but Lady enjoys cleaning up after you. You also eat anything and everything! And LOVE cheerios! You are still a little nursing champ and have never had formula. You are very particular when nursing and don't want anyone talking around you. If you dad walks in you give him a dirty look to tell him to be quite. It's too funny!

You are still a rockstar sleeper. Here's your schedule:

7:30-8 wakeup and have breakfast (nurse and rice cereal with half Banana and then eat the other half with Dad)

8:30-11:00 nap

12:00 lunch- nurse and veggies/fruit/turkey

1:30-3:30 nap

6:30 dinner- nurse followed by veggies/fruits/turkey

7:30 bed

You are also a little peanut! You eat a TON so I guess you have a fast little metabolism. You also have a belly and rounded cheeks that are very deceiving.

You still look just like your daddy but have bright hazel eyes. You have two teeth but I think you are working on some more. Your hair is getting longer and growing in.
