And we can rollover the other way!

Today was my dads birthday so Kiley decided to show Buck a birthday trick. She rolled over from her back to her front! Go Kiley!!!! I know Buck was so excited up in Heaven and is so proud of you!

(This picture isn't the best shot because she is now eating her hand and it is hard to tell she went completely over- but she did!)

You are such a little mover. Apparently, you are just now suppose to be rolling from front to back (yet you did that right before 8 weeks) and aren't suppose to be going from back to front until around 6 months (and you conquered it at 3 months and 5 days)!! Way to go my little over achiever! We love you

To fellow Moms out there...

I always seem to get comments about being a stay at home. Mainly the comments come from girls who think I have nothing but time on my hands and sit around relaxing all day. I usually want to laugh and tell them they clearly have no clue about being a mommy and all that it entails and that I do have a "job". BUT they wouldnt understand so instead I always reply "I'm very blessed to be able to stay home and raise my baby." So here is an article that helps explain what moms do with all the "free time."

Holding her extra tight lately

I have been holding my sweet blessing extra tight and counting my blessings lately. I have been reading this blog www.jamescamdensikes.blogspot.com and my heart is completely broken for this dear family and sweet baby boy. This 8 month old has been battling a brain tumor and yesterday they received terrible news- the cancer was back and worse than ever and there wasn't a way to save James. This family had to make a difficult decision with their baby. Last night after reading the post that informed us James wouldnt make it very much longer, I just cried. I went into Kiley's room and dropped to my knees and prayed. I prayed and thanked the Lord for Kiley. I prayed for baby James. I prayed for his parents. I prayed, cried, and prayed some more. I picked Kiley up while she was sleeping and held her extra tight and thanked the Lord for her and the blessing she is.

Please pray for baby James and his family.

You know you Bf when...

You know you breast feed your child when......

1) you are constantly covered in breast milk
2) you stop caring if you have "leaked" onto your outfit
3) if it's around feeing time and you check on your baby during a nap she instantly wakes up because she can smell you
4) your husbands deep freeze is no longer for his deer meat, but rather to store all your frozen BM
5) you no longer sleep in cute pjs but rather ones you don't have to be fully awake to feed in the morning
6) you no longer think or look at boobs as "sexual" body parts but rather the best means to feed your child
7) you feel like Elsie the cow
8) nursing your baby in public is not a big deal
9) you husband jokes that you got a boob job without him paying for one
10) your clothes don't fit the same because of that free " boob job"

Broadmoor, CO

We just got back from yet another fabulous vacation, this time we were at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. This get away the men were invited, along with Lews sweet grandparents. The Broadmoor is a fabulous hotel and I highly recommend everyone to go. The food is delicious, the pool is fabulous, the wait staff so friendly, and the view of the mountains makes everything so relaxing. Not to mention that the weather was just perfect and made coming back to Texas heat miserable. Below are some pictures (okay maybe a few too many) of the fun we had.

Headed to the pool the first day

The view from our chairs

Dinner at the Club the first night (one of my favorites!)

Sweet cousins

Second night at the Mexican restaurant with Miggie and Dwight (Kiley's great grandparents- aren't they adorable?)

Getting loved on by her Aunt Lels

Just finished playing bingo and Matching Daddy in her pink polo dress (not the best picture of us- but pretty scenery)

The third night before dinner- the grandchildren and great grandchildren

Of course she had to wear her TCU bloomers in Colorado :)

With lews sweet parents- Honey and Ace

YaYa with her nieces

Playing on the slides
