Prayers for our sweet dog, Lady

Well, today was a very hard day for Lewis and I. Before I explain the day I will update you on what is going on. Last week I noticed our sweet dog, Lady, had a booboo on her leg above her paw. I told Lewis about it as soon as I saw it. It seemed as if she had cut herself and there was swelling around it. Lew immediately called our vet in Abilene. The vet in Abilene tried to help us out the best he could over the phone. He thought that maybe Lady had hurt her toe and it needed to be pulled back into place. Lew tried pulling out it but nothing was happening. We decided to take her by a vet in Fort Worth to have him look at it. Never in a million years did we think what we were told by the FW vet. He believes our sweet Lady has bone cancer. He did x-rays and is going to send them off to another person to get a second opinion. This is so hard for us to even understand, and extremely devastating. So please pray! Pray that this is simply a misdiagnosis and please pray that I try not to stress over this for the baby k's sake. It is just so hard and I have spent hours just balling over what could be. Our dog is the world to us and we just couldn't imagine life without her. So please pray. Thank you.

Belly Button

My Belly Button is on the verge of poping! The top of it pokes out a little but the bottom half is still level. Some nights it is level against my belly and the baby kicks around it so it pokes out but it hasn't poped yet. Lewis loves to look at it and keeps trying to make it pop, it's his little fetish. So a post soon just might be me "popping"

30 week Dr check-up

We had our 30 week doctor appointment yesterday. We were suppose to have it last week but since the weather was so bad it was canceled and rescheduled. Anyhow, the appointment went great. I gained 1 pound in then last month! I was pretty impressed especially with my sweet tooth cookie cravings that have started. Baby Ks heart rate was 150 and my blood pressure was great. I am now measuring 30 cm and it's right on track- no more measuring two weeks bigger. The doctor said everything was going perfect and she wished she had more patients doing as good as us. We felt truly blessed and I thank God for protecting us during this journey. Thank you for your continued prays and support.

We only have 10 more weeks until we meet her! We are so excited!

Rodeo Programs only $3!

So for the past three weeks, I have been completely consumed with selling programs for Junior league at the Rodeo. Every program we sell for $3, JL raises a $1 for charities we support. Each year certain girls work more shifts than required to be "prize goers." Going into the rodeo since I was 7 months pregnant, I told myself I wouldn't take it super serious and I wouldn't get competitive. Well, anyone who knows me is probably laughing because of course that quickly happened. Selling programs is so much fun and it gets so addicting "competing" and seeing how many you can sell each night. Even during our snow storm I worked every shift- Lew thought I was crazy for volunteering when everything was closed but being the wonderful husband he is he drove me around during the snow storm to make sure I got there safely. I ended up working over 25 shifts and sold over 1740 programs!!!! (I think I worked 28 and sold 1774 but I'm not exactly sure) And to top off the 3 weeks, I ended up winning and being the Top Seller! I was so happy that all my hard work paid off! I won a pair of fabulous Lane boots along with a prize package worth over $1,000! I won colonial tickets, photo sessions, tons of gift certificates, Billy Bob tickets, hair cuts and styles, facials, and plenty of other goodies. It was amazing! And to make things so much sweeter the Rodeo committee gave me a baby gift. It was the sweetest thing and of course I started crying. It was filled of adorable baby clothes and a photography session for Baby K- so thoughtful and perfect. The other prize goers
were so sweet and I enjoyed getting to spend so much time with them. The rodeo committee are truly amazing! These wonderful ladies go above and beyond volunteering and making the
Rodeo and selling programs an absolute blast!I'm sad it is over but already looking forward to next year!

Sweet Little Hiccups

I've been waiting for our little one to get the hiccups and she finally did Saturday night! I know I'm weird but my dear friend Laurens little boy use to get them and it was adorable. Baby K got the hiccups and Lew and I just kept our hands on my belly just smiling and giggling. They only lasted a few minutes but it was cute.
